GREENFIELDS PROJECTS - SENIOR EXPLORATION MANAGER
The successful incumbent will be responsible for all Greenfields exploration by designing, planning and implementing the relevant exploration programs as well as managing and directing the exploration programs to be in line with overall company strategy.
The candidate will be responsible for laying down the foundations to start the projects and then maintaining the exploration program to standard as well as overseeing the effective running of all regional offices.
The Greenfields Projects - Senior Exploration Manager will be accountable for providing leadership to Exploration Manager and the project team as well as being responsible for generation of new exploration concepts and targets.
He will also be responsible for identifying exploration acquisition opportunities.
Requirements:
· Relevant tertiary qualification
· Minimum 15 years industry related exploration experience
· Proven Experience in a similar position
· Proven Leadership and management skills
· Networks within the African continent
· Broad experience with regard to negotiating and reviewing contracts
· Comprehensive HSE practices and procedures
· Excellent communication skills
