Vice President (Refining) - Kenya

Our client is a leading player in steel, power, mining, oil and gas and infrastructure sectors in Kenya with expanding presence across Asia, Africa and South America.
They are currently looking to employ a Executive Director/President for their Coal Gasification and Coal to Liquid Project.
The ideal candidate will be a Masters/Graduate in Chemical Engineering or equivalent with specific experience in project and business development of this technology. The incumbent would have to provide key input in technology selection, optimize the value chain design for optimum energy integration and product selection for best capital and operational cost options.
At least 20 years of experience is required in refining synthesis oil for the optimum thermal energy integration and utilization.
The position entails leading a team of dynamic professionals on a high growth path that will result in scaling the efficiency. The incumbent should be an experienced professional, with extensive knowledge and experience, willing to work in India.
The candidate must have excellent skills in the following areas: English communication, interpersonal skills and people management teamwork, leadership and decision making.
