Are you an experienced Equipment Manager with experience on surface and underground drill rigs?

Top company with international operations is seeking a qualified individual to join their operations in West Africa.
The main function of this role is to effectively manage the maintenance function and the equipment in the specified area.
Duties include:
Conduct inspections to ensure that all drill rigs (underground and surface), heavy and light vehicles and ancillary equipment are maintained correctly.
Ensure legal compliance during selection, transfer and disposal of assets.
Aid in development and improvement initiatives for various business units.
Ensure that the resources in the region are utilized optimally.
Form a maintenance management grid with other regions.
Assist in product research and development and make recommendations where possible.
Requirements:
Relevant qualification.
Minimum 8 years experience in a similar role.
Technical background essential.
Asset management experience essential.
Experience on the MEX program essential.
Ability to do maintenance planning and implementation.
Computer literacy.
Intuitive, strategic thinker.
Excellent people management skills.
Previous experience working in Africa is highly advantageous.
