We currently have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Highways Engineer to join one of the UK’s strongest multi-discipline design and project management consultancies.

Currently operating in markets including Civil engineering, Highways/Infrastructure, Transportation, Heavy Civil Engineering and Geotechnics, an increase in opportunities and workload has led to the need to strengthen the technical base with experienced and ambitious individuals.

Reporting to the discipline Head (Associate Director), this is a key technical leadership role and an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys the challenge of design delivery at all stages of projects, providing sound technical leadership to a team of younger engineers, who wants to add value to both tender and construction stages through ideas and innovation, and who wants to advance within the company to a more senior role through demonstrating proven managerial and technical ability.

We are looking for a sound technical engineer with an appropriate technical qualification and experienced in knowing how to problem solve and deliver engineering solutions. You should have proven experience of highway and estate road layout design to Algeria national and local standards with proven experience in ideally Highway Agency projects.

Must be able to read, write and speak French and English

Ideally, but not essentially, you will also have experience in Geometrical design, including horizontal and vertical alignments, junction design including roundabouts and traffic signal design, pavement design using DMRB and experience of NRSWA and TRO’s.
