Domestic Energy / Engineering Development

Our clients are in need of two experts for domestic energy talks in Africa and the details are as followed in English and French:

The evaluation team will include two experts who will lead talks in the 9 CILSS countries:

- A team leader (senior category), economist or engineer with at least 10 years of experience in household energy and have proven expertise in conducting evaluations and the use of logical framework and it will make imperative to visit and meet the CILSS DUE Ouagadougou, he will be responsible for the quality of documents produced;

- An expert (junior) with at least 3 years experience in household energy, knowing well the Sahel environment and having already participated in assessment missions.

The working language is French. Experts should have a good understanding of English that the Portuguese would be an advantage.
At least one expert must have the skills to deal with issues relating to gender issues.

L’équipe d’évaluation comprendra deux experts qui conduiront les entretiens dans les 9 pays du CILSS :

- un chef d’équipe (catégorie senior), ingénieur ou économiste, avec au moins 10 ans d'expérience en matière d'énergie domestique et ayant des compétences confirmées dans la conduite d’évaluations et l’utilisation du cadre logique ; il effectuera impérativement une visite au CILSS et rencontrera la DUE à Ouagadougou ; il sera responsable de la qualité des documents produits ;

- un expert (catégorie junior) avec au moins 3 ans d'expérience en matière d'énergie domestique, connaissant bien le milieu sahélien et ayant déjà participé à des missions d’évaluation.

La langue de travail sera le français. Les experts devront avoir une bonne connaissance de l'anglais ; celle du portugais constituerait un avantage.

Un au moins des experts devra avoir les compétences requises pour traiter des questions relatives à la problématique genre.
