Our International Engineering Project Management client requires a Project Engineer (Building Works) with experience in Africa with Civil works and construction projects to complete projects in
Description:
Responsible for managing the execution of the projects as per contract specifications as agreed with the customers to ensure customer satisfaction. Ensure QC/QA as per the engineering specifications followed by QPM or as governed by the client.
Qualification:
Degree in Mechanical Engineering with relevant Certifications in Project Management, 10 years with a reputed international contracting company preferably 3 years in a position in a similar capacity handling complex projects,
Experience is required of the complete construction process from initial design to testing, commissioning and final handover.
Skills:
Functional:
Knowledge of local and international standards, specifications and codes,
Auto-Cad 2000 skills will be an advantage
Knowledge of relevant best practice
Knowledge of Project Management techniques
Cost management and control techniques and tools (value engineering)
