Senior Geologist
East Africa
Our client is seeking a Senior Geologist with 15-20 years of experience for a Copper/Gold project in East Africa. Responsible for exploration work to plan, prepare database, commence, manage and prepare reports. Planning would include geological mapping, stream sediments points, soil mapping, structural mapping, topography and etc. Conducting field visits with the fellow team members along with the project manager and giving guidelines for the next step of exploration. He shall be on and off the field but preferably should be on the field most of the time.
Requirements:
• Relevant Tertiary qualification
• Approximately 15-20 years industry related experience
• Experience in similar position
• Experience in Africa beneficial
• Vast experience in gold and copper
• Swahili language skills would be an advantage
