CA Global: Africa Positions has a client that is in need of a Catering Purchasing Manager. The position is based in Ethiopia.
Overview:
- Implement procurement strategy and policies
- Continually develop expertise to support growth for new projects
- Build and develop relationships with key suppliers and customers
- Track Purchasing activity and measurements
- Manage vendor relationships and assist in building effective partnerships
- Responsible for planning, developing and buying materials, parts, supplies and equipments in a timely and cost effective way; timely manner while maintaining appropriate quality standards and specifications
- Dealing with suppliers
- Dealing with Brokers
Requirements:
Education : Relevant degree in Business/Purchasing/Supplies Management/Hospitality
Strength : Strong Report writing skills
Ability to facilitate change
Personal adaptability/flexibility
Good planning and organizing skills
Professional command in English
Computer proficiency
Strong inter personal skills
Experience : 10 years relevant experience in a commercial/industrial set up. Must have knowledge of Hotel and Food and Beverage purchasing
