PLANT FOREMAN

West Africa

Our client is currently seeking a Plant Foreman to be responsible for the ore processing installation operation in order to fulfil the goals of production, quality, timeframes and costs for a project in West Africa.

Responsibilities will be to:

· Operate the facilities to ensure that production and quality goals are met for the beneficiation by managing the installation activities

· Make sure processes are properly controlled and continuously improved to ensure the beneficiation plant's metal recovery maximization.

· Ensure compliance to the technical and cost control standards of the processing by monitoring and analyzing variables of the production process and applying correctional measures

· Ensure environmental norms and procedures are complied with, caring for the environment in all activities, including the physical-chemical conditions of the recirculation water.

· Ensure that all operators and assistants take care of equipment and facilities in order to increase their availability.

· Make sure the team is continuously encouraged by an invigorating workplace climate and optimization of its performance, monitoring the development of activities, providing for adequate training and encouraging the fulfillment of goals.

· The health and safety of in-house and outsourced teams shall be secured through effective preventive and corrective actions.

Requirements:

· Mining level technician experience or similar

· Four-year experience with management of processing activities.

· Council’s registration

· Skills in Communication, process control, entrepreneurship, focus on results, leadership and planning
