Start:
(1) Position available for the advert post. International company working on location for coal/mining project is in need of skilled practitioner on site to undergo and perform such duties.
Duties:
- Occupational examinations (admissions, periodic, function change, etc.) followed by issuing of certificate confirming occupational health
- Oversee the control of the absenteeism of employees through statistical analysis, monitoring of absent employees, and issuing of health certificates
- Provide and mandate first-aid in case of work accidents
- Follow-up on reports of work accidents
- Assist in the organization of health promoting campaigns
- Draft statistical analysis of occupational health-related factors
- Take part in creation of the health budget
- Insure first-contact, health-checks for all employees
Requirements:
- Medical degree from a recognized institution, related to working role
- Solid 4 yrs. experience in work related occupational medicine
Skills aptitude:
- Specialized in occupational medicine and or proven experience working with occupational medicine
- Fluent in English and Portuguese
