CA Global: Engineering and Construction (Africa Positions) has a client that is in need of a Team Leader (Bridges and Roads). The position will be based in Jamaica
Overview:
Role needs someone to operate forthcoming road construction project for construction/upgrading of roads in southern Kazakhstan under three contracts.
Responsibilities
· Coordinate and manage all aspects of the project including:
· Highway civil works
· Resettlement and environmental management components
· Use available specialists to perform and report on all the tasks
· Managing a team of 6 international and 15 national professional staff plus support personnel
· Liaison with Key Stakeholders
· Preparation of project reports
Requirements:
· Civil engineering degree
· previous appointments as Team Leader and Resident Engineer for road projects.
· Experience highway engineering and construction supervision of roads with both flexible and rigid pavements
· Experience with FIDIC conditions of contract
· Experience in the Carribean region an advantage
· 15 years’ related experience in highway engineering and construction
supervision of roads with asphalt and concrete pavements
