CA Global: Africa / International Positions have a client that is in need of a “Food and Beverage Manager” (Hospitality / Management / Restaurant). The project will be in Liberia
Overview:
Looking for skilled candidate who can multitask under pressure. Attention to detail and delivery is key
Duties:
§ Reports to General Manager
§ Responsible for day to day running of food and beverage department
§ Ensure that all recipes and methods are followed for every dish served in the restaurant/hotel
§ Knowledge of governing laws for food and beverage that hotel must adhere to
§ Oversee budget controls, pricing and purchasing of all food and beverage items
§ Ability to lead and make sound decision in fast pace environment
§ Always ensure service delivery on all levels
§ Maintain communication with chef and catering department for future menus and events
(*) Additional duties of responsibilities shall be communicated at a later stage!
Requirements:
Education : Accredited certification in Restaurant/Hospitality Management
Experience : 5-10 years relevant experience in hospitality industry
Profile :
§ Detail-orientated individual
§ Must possess license for operational role
§ Previous management responsibilities
§ Ensure all HACCP work practices
§ Compile to all Health and Safety policies
§ Proven track record at supervisory level
§ Shown demonstrated ability in previous/similar role
§ Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
§ Financial awareness
§ Sales ability and profit driven
