CA Global: Africa / International Positions have a client that is in need of an “Executive Chef” (Culinary / Hospitality/ Chef Manager). The project will be in Liberia
Overview:
Looking for skilled candidate with natural leadership abilities; who possess diverse culinary experience and exposure in servicing African cuisine for Hotel
Duties:
§ Operate and delegate kitchen duties simultaneously
§ Plan and price menus, and create new recipes
§ Strict on consistent quality and presentation technique
§ Supervise and Manage all staff including sous chef
§ Organize kitchen staff schedule
§ Approve all prepared food items that are to leave the kitchen
§ Applied creativity to modify and create new menus
§ Perform general administrative duties of ordering supplies and communicating with hotel management
§ Prepare budget for labor and food costs
§ Manage regular inventory of food and equipment supplies
§ Ensure that kitchen adheres to sanitation and safety laws
(*) Additional duties of responsibilities shall be communicated at a later stage!
Requirements:
Education : Accredited certification in the Culinary Arts
Experience : 5-10 years relevant experience in hotel kitchen environment
Documents required: Financial management skills, like accounting
Human resource skills to train and recruit
Food Hygiene Certificates
HACCP
All necessary proven culinary certifications
Valid passport
