Senior Long Term Planner (West Africa)

My client is looking to fill the following vacancy at their underground mine in West Africa
Responsibilities:
· Bulk Mine Designs – Longhole Open Stoping
· Development Designs
· Mine Design/Planning Software – SURPAC or Mine24D
· AutoCAD/Promine Preferred
· Experience of Working at Different Sites
· Expatriate Experience Preferred (especially Africa or hot climates)
· Block Reserve Evaluation
· Development and Bulk Stoping (Blast Ring) Design
· Management of Survey, Ventilation, Infrastructure and Projects
· Interaction with External Consultants
· Reserve Statements and Updates
· Projects and NPV Analysis
Requirements:
· 10 to 15 years (hard rock mining, including minimum 5 years engineering
· BSc/BEng Mining
· Professional Engineer or Equivalent Manager’s Certificate
· Proficient in Mine Planning/Design Software
· French language or willingness to learn
Contract:
· FIFO 7/3 roster
· 12 month contract
