My client is a mining company starting up an open-pit operation in West Africa
They are looking for an IT Consultant to complete a detailed audit on what they need to do to cope with the IT demand once they ramp up to operations with extra staff
Main responsibilities:
· The IT function is key in the proper development of the project.
· They need to accelerate it on the ground and also to revaluate what they do on medium / long term considering our plans.
· An audit of what is existing and what would best answer to our expected development regarding communication and internet (Mining Site + neighbouring town construction/ops/admin/management)
· Providing strategic and operational advice
Experience needed:
· Similar experience, having providing advice and guidance to mine sites that are moving from construction to operations.
· Database knowledge/infrastructure/desktop support/LAN internet/server maintenance
· Simply providing strategic and operational advice.
