CA Global: Africa Positions has a client that is in need of a Support Technician. The position is available in South Africa
Our client would prefer to recruit citizens of each country for each position
Overview:
- Closely work together with GEO Level 2 team, Provide effective technical support on
- Responsible for minimizing the Quality issues that impact of Customer Delight and cost impact through
- Unknown problem and quality issue pre-alert
- Provide timely technical information and samples to GEO level 2 team
- Quality issues solution and Tips implement in region
- Responsible for effective training to
- Responsible for technical tools and Knowledge Base deployment in region,
- Responsible for technical readiness for new product launching.
- Responsible for VIP special case and technical critical issues handling in region
- Manage all SC technicians and ensure they are adequately trained
- Ensure adherence to Lenovo technical guidance
- Manage repairs
- General technical support for Service Centres including onsite support.
Requirements:
Education : A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Technology Engineering, Telecommunications, or an equivalent education
Soft skills : Must possess very strong problem solving and resolution experience.
Must be very customer oriented and focused on meeting the customer's needs.
Enjoy learning
Highly motivated, positive attitude and team oriented
Good Verbal and written English skills
Good spoken communications skills is a must
Experience : 2+ years experience in technical post-sales and consultative support in the PC industry
