French speaking Mine Manager

My client is looking to fill the position of Mine Manager for their open-pit operation in
Responsibilities
· To oversee the effective extraction of ore including grade control.
· To direct and manage all mine production activities including planning, budgeting, staffing, cost containment, and profitability.
· To analyze geological and engineering information and provide direction in the development of mine plans.
· To work
· Oversee and implement production programs and operations to maximize production efficiency and resources.
· Leads the Mine Maintenance department
· Act as a member of the senior management team to develop and achieve the overall strategy and goals of the mine
Requirements
§ University degree in Mining Engineering or related degree
§ Related professional designation or certification
§ Minimum 12 years of mining related experience.
§ Minimum 5 years of experience at a supervisory level.
§ Solid working knowledge of open-pit mining methods and procedures.
§ FRENCH SPEAKING IS A MUST
§ Good understanding and working knowledge of the applicable legislation and regulations for Mines and Mining Plants.
§ Ability to interpret engineering plans and offer sound technical expertise
§ Strong leadership and managerial skills, ability to impact and influence management
§ High degree of business acumen
§ Strong communication and interpersonal skills
