Senior Mine Engineer / Project Engineer
Purpose:
· Coordinate and advance the work supporting development of the open pit mine.
Requirements:
· +5 years minimum in open-pit mining
· prefer +10 years, operations experience designing and mining open pits and scheduling them required.
· Skills needed: OP mine design, production scheduling and some amount of project management skills highly regarded.
· Cost estimation, budget construction and management skills using Excel or Project.
· Experience in Vulcan preferred or other similar software experience
· A strategic thinker but able to focus on detail.
Position
· FIFO or residential
· Reports to BD Manager but may be assigned to Mine Department for extended periods to assist Operations.
· Will be required to work effectively with many disparate groups within and potentially outside of the company.
· US dollar net salary
· Accommodation, meals and flights paid for when on FIFO
