CA Global: Africa Positions has a client that is in need of an Estimator. The position is based in South Africa.
Overview:
· Experience in development of Detailed Design Cost Estimates.
· Able to develop work breakdown structures.
· Tender evaluation and preparation of Reports.
· Experience with cost estimation software.
· Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with ability to convey information and ideas in a clear and unambiguous manner.
· Must be a good team player with the capacity to co-operate actively with colleagues to achieve corporate objectives
Requirements:
Education : Relevant Degree
Soft skills : Strong MS Office skills and experience with CCS (Candy) or similar estimating system would be an advantage
Knowledge of OOM / Pre-feasibility / Feasibility estimates
Experience : Minimum of 5 years applicable experience, ideally on large multi disciplinary projects in an EPCM environment
