CA Global: Power and Energy (Africa Positions) has a client that is in need of a Project Manager (Power Lines / Overhead Lines). The project site is based in Ghana.
Overview:
Our client is currently seeking to appoint a Project Manager with excellent experience relating to 11kV / 33kv overhead line implementation projects. This Position will require frequent travel from South Africa to Ghana.
Requirements:
• Electrical Engineering Degree
• Excellent experienced relating to 11kv / 33kv overhead line implementation projects
• Strong Project management / Administration skills in the context of managing projects in Africa, Ghana preferable.
• Strong IT skills and proficient in project management software
• Attention to detail
• Specific experience in managing overhead line reticulation and similar installation projects in Africa.
• Experience in managing installation personnel in Africa.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes relevant to the kinds of products that will be supplied
• Quality control and inspection experience with related equipment.
• Logistics experience in bringing materials globally to a central point and managing implementation.
• Strong organisational and administration skills.
• Project planning, estimating / costing, budgeting, material procurement experience
