Job Description:

The main purpose of the position is to implement and lead a local Service team to support our local clients needs in service/maintenance and engineering solutions for DCS, HMI, SIS, PLC.
<BR>• • Produces technical design specifications • Executes work assignment to appropriate standards and quality systems (implementation, test and documentation) • Monitors and controls assigned work scope against the project plan • Effectively communicates with customers to fully define and agree project requirements • Proactively recommends potential quality and efficiency improvements within the engineering group • Shares technical knowledge with project team, supervisor, own discipline and other engineering disciplines • Reports progress and technical problems Regional Service supervisor • Ensures that required prerequisites (e.g. design inputs, tools, documentation, deliverables, schedule, budget) are in place prior to commencing work • Produces part(s) of total functional design specifications subject to approvals • Sound knowledge of and experience in TCP/IP networking • Experience in applying Microsoft domains in production systems is highly desired • Detailed Design, and/or operations exposure would be an asset • Detailed knowledge of technical procedures and quality assurance • Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills • Microsoft skill set must include Active Directory, DNS, Terminal Services and systems monitoring and analysis • Knowledge of the Company DCS Platforms including Experion PKS, C200/C300, TPS, TDC3000, Plant Scape. Experience on other systems also considered • Experience in workstation and server client deployment and maintenance is required • Server and client communication; COM/DCOM, SNMP, WMI, Scripting |

Skills/Qualifications:
|
• Bachelor degree/Diploma in engineering or equivalent experience.
• 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in Automation and Control Solutions in the Oil and Gas industry. • Process control engineering specialization with a chemical or electrical engineering or technologist education is highly desired • Detailed Design, and/or operations exposure would be an asset • Pre-commissioning and commissioning experience • Detailed knowledge of engineering procedures and quality assurance • Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills • Knowledge of the Company DCS Platforms including Experion PKS , C200/C300, TPS, TDC3000, Plant Scape. Experience on other systems also considered. |
