CA Oil & Gas is in search of a SENIOR ELECTRICAL & MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN -Angola The position will be based in Angola.
Education/Experience/Training: AA degree in Electro/Mechanics or engineering technology, or technical vocational certification in AC/DC electrical circuits and fluid power preferred. 10+ years experience as an electro/mechanical technician.
NATIONALITY: Angola
Skills/Knowledge: Advanced skills on soldering and assembling of electro/mechanical devices. Proficient in the use of millimeters, meggers, hi-pot testers, and other basic instruments. Ability to read, interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly prints, and parts lists. Competence in fluid power technology, AC/DC circuits, and electro/mechanical devices. Advanced level of analytical ability to find solutions to complex technical problems.
Duties/Responsibilities: Troubleshoots, tests, and assembles electro-mechanical assemblies. Reviews the accuracy of procedures for the assembly/disassembly and checkout of instrumentation. Configures test stations and systems. Interprets test data from environmental test and troubleshooting equipment problems. Assists in the set-up of experiments and the recording of experimental data. Tests and evaluates the performance, and if required, repairs general purpose test equipment.
