Senior Water Engineer is required by CA Global: Africa Positions. The position is based in Johannesburg – South Africa.
Overview:
• Management of the design of water-and wastewater utilities and associated technologies (e.g. water distribution, pump stations, pipelines and treatment plants).
• Competitive bidding.
• Project management (minimum R30m in fees).
• Network and build relationships with potential- and current clients.
• Implement and coordinate technical projects, including marketing, staffing, management, technical and financial issues to projects.
• Successful application and management of QMS.
• Manage performance, training and mentoring of subordinates.
• Manage project risk and resolution of PI claims.
Requirements:
Education : B.Eng/BSc.Eng (Civil)
Soft skills : Experience working in a commercial environment and successfully preparing financial proposals.
Technical water engineering design skills must be sound.
MS Office proficient.
Project management experience of complex projects.
Experience in successfully managing a department or section.
Experienced in Technical Project Reviews

Experience : 12-15 years experience in the design of water-and wastewater utilities and associated technologies (e.g. water distribution, pump stations, pipelines) at senior management level
