Are you an experienced Maintenance Manager from the Mining Industry?
Top Company with operations in Central Asia is seeking an experienced individual to manage the maintenance of the heavy fleet.
Main functions:
Ensure all company trucks and trailers meet or exceed specifications.
Direct, manage and control the vehicle maintenance department.
Duties include but not limited to:
Control and reduce vehicle maintenance expenses.
Initiate and develop programs to educate and train drivers on vehicle maintenance.
Coordinate new drivers in available trucks, in conjunction with Operations.
Ensure budget is adhered to.
Analyse root causes for variance in cost for repairs, maintenance and tyre expenses.
Train and manage Diesel Mechanics, Trailer Technicians, Tyre Specialists and Maintenance Clerks.
Provide planned maintenance for all vehicles in the fleet.
Maintain staffing requirements.
Requirements:
Trade qualification.
6 years previous experience in a similar position.
Extensive Maintenance Management experience within the mining industry.
Experience in diesel mechanics, medium and heavy duty tractor repair, trailer repair, paintwork and bodywork.
Parts inventory and distribution experience.
Able to lift and move heavy objects.
Previous experience in a multicultural environment.
Previous experience as an Expat in harsh, remote essential.
