mechanical Construction Engineer (Oil & Gas / Refinery / Petrochemical) - Kuwait

CA Engineering: Oil and Gas (International Positions) have a client that is in need of a Lead mechanical Construction Engineer (Oil & Gas / Refinery / Petrochemical). The position will be based in Kuwait.
Overview:
Monitor the assigned construction scope to ensure all work is preformed to agreed standards for safety, health and environment. Participate in and advise on all construction activities and initiatives, including provision of training/inductions, documentation reviews etc.
Requirements:
- Relevant Engineering Degree
- 12 years Post Gradation Experience minimum
- 10 years of which must be relevant to Oil & Gas / Refinery / Petrochemical projects experience
- Self motivated and able to clearly communicate with the Client and contractors at all levels.
- Good presentations skills and ability to provide training.
- Good written communication skills.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Maintain a good working relationship with the clients and sub-contractors engineering representatives.
- Responsible for site engineering activities and providing technical assistance to the construction supervision team.
- Primary contact with the project office to ensure site is in receipt of latest drawing, specifications and information.
- Assist in the resolution of technical queries arising on site.
- Supervises vendor representatives for check out/pre commissioning of equipment and any other special testing or maintenance requirements.
- Fully familiar with the drawings, specifications and engineering procedures of the project.
