IT Business Analyst - West Africa

My client (a gold mining company) are currently seeking an IT Business Analyst for their operation in West Africa
Responsibilities:
- Business Process improvement and optimisation across Supply Chain Management, Finance and Maintenance processes, working closely with the new ‘super user community’.
- Development of an appropriate application blueprint for all applications and processes of (London, Burkina Faso, Guinea and Mali).
- Exploration Data Management processes.
- Future focus will also be to engage other elements of the mining and exploration functions and processes as we start to focus on opportunities in these other areas.
Requirements:
- experienced across the main processes of the mine and exploration functions, especially SCM, Finance and Maintenance
- Speaks French, and has good experience in Mining and/or utility type companies
- Has worked in Africa or in a similar environment, so knows how to get things done in a pragmatic way.
- Can be both strategic and hands on, and can closely manage third parties consultancies as required to help deliver on specific projects/activities.
- Is a self starter, who has the required tenacity to deliver as required.
- Ideally knows the Accpac software (although not essential if he/she ticks all of the other boxes)
Expat contract:
· US dollar net salary
· Full benefits on site
· FIFO roster
· Bonus 15%
· 1 year contract, which is renewable.
