Supply Chain Manager- Southern Africa
Our client is currently seeking a Supply Chain Manager for their operations in Southern Africa.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the inbound and outbound supply chain function, maximizing resource
utilization
- Work closely with suppliers and customers to improve operations and reduce cost
- Control the company’s stock investment, including warehousing and distribution
- Integrate the business processes and IT systems of many suppliers and customers
- Assist contract owners in managing contracts in terms of performance management,
price escalation, scope changes and contract amendments
- Establishment and management of relevant contract templates
- Assist with the compilation of tenders, tender management, tender adjudication and
tender board submittal
Requirements:
- Relevant Degree or Diploma in Commerce with subjects in purchasing management,
Business Economics and law of contracts or commercial law
- At least eight year’s procurement and contract administration experience
- Commercial and Purchasing experience
- Sound knowledge of the SAP MM Module will be highly preferential
