CA Global: Telecommunications and Law (Africa / International Positions) has a client that is in need of a Commercial Administrator (Business Law / Contract Service / Commercial Service / Contract Management/ Supplier Management / SLA/ OLA). The position will be based in South Africa.
(1) Position available for the advert post. Need a professional that can facilitate contract and document management, in a Telecommunications environment.
Duties:
§ Contract and Document Management - Facilitate, administer and support the process by which Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Organizational Level Agreements (OLAs) with third parties are managed/ reviewed and the documentation management around them.
§ Ensure all commercial and contractual documents are stored on a shared drive, and that this is backed up on a daily/monthly basis.
§ Ensure that proper governance frameworks, standards, policies and procedures are followed.
Suppliers
§ Manage the supplier cancellation, penalties and process regarding customer site terminations.
§ In conjunction with Project Accounting, identify and track cost implications of all Agreements.
§ In conjunction with the Operations and Delivery teams, monitor the performance of OLAs, Underpinned Contracts and Supplier performance.
§ Together with Supplier Management, perform rationalization for each renewal which includes overall performance and costs of the vendor for the period in question
§ Ensure all relevant parties are informed of reviews, changes, updates and cancellations relating to SLAs and Contracts. Manage the escalation process and service improvement arising from escalations. Actively monitor compliance against contracts.
§ Proactive Contract Management of Expirations and Renewals.
§ Ensure that third party suppliers are properly aware of CSOC processes and procedures, and billing processes, and are provided with relevant proxy letters.
§ Ensure that all new suppliers provide necessary operational information to enable CSOC to effectively engage with them.
Customers
§ Manage incoming flow of Change Requests, ensure they are complete, and distribute to auctioning party.
§ Manage change request logs for all customers.
§ Manage the Change Process.
§ Ensure Service Orders responding to Change Requests are properly complete, and have all supporting documentation.
§ Once Change Request Service Orders have been accepted by customer, ensure that PMO is updated and Project Accounting are updated.
§ Update Service Order log with recent change requests/new service orders.
Requirements:
- Administrative/Legal tertiary level qualification.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in administration role (essential).
- Experience of providing commercial/contractual service to a significantly sized organization including a mix of supplier, customer and in-house requirements.
- Experience in the Telecommunications Environment would be strongly preferred
- Computer Literacy.
- Communications.
- Ability to communicate with suppliers and internal stakeholders at senior level.
- Ability to communicate at all levels both verbally and in writing.
Skills aptitude:
§ Mature in thinking
§ Detail oriented
§ Computer Knowledge; MS Office – Outlook, Word and well versed in Excel
