Fitter and Turner – Iron Ore – Northern Cape
A mining giant is urgently seeking a Fitter and Turner to join their mining team in Northern Cape
The successful candidate will be responsible for the compiling of the Numerical Control machine programmes for the CNC machines to produce the designed components as well as the manufacturing of components with a CNC machine using the Numerical Control (NC) programmes.
Requirements
- 3 years’ experience as a Fitter and Turner,
- 2 years’ experience in operating heavy machining.
- Grade 12 or N3 qualification
- A Fitter and Turner Trade Certificate
- Code 8 Drivers License
- Medical fitness certificate
- To be computer literate and be familiar with software like Auto Desk Inventor Professional software, EDGE CAM software, PC-DMIS CAD software and Fanuc software
