Are you an experienced Regional Training and Development Manager from a drilling background?
Top company is seeking a dedicated individual to join their team!
Your main function will be to implement training programs and initiatives for the safety, development, and productivity of employees.
Primary Duties:
Evaluate training requirements for drillers, driller assistants, and other field staff.
Liaise with employees and local management regarding training needs.
Develop and implement training modules to prepare employees for safe and successful completion of tasks.
Identify program improvements, material, vendor and delivery effectiveness.
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of training records, including identification and development of process or system improvements.
Frequently assess training effectiveness.
Monitor national and local legislative developments to advise management accordingly.
Requirements:
Relevant degree, diploma or certification.
5+ years’ experience in a similar role revolving around EHS, Operations, Training or HR.
Knowledgeable in applicable EHS disciplines, sciences and regulations.
Passionate about employee development.
Demonstrated business acumen.
Effective time and priority management.
Computer literacy.
Previous experience working as an Expatriate in a multicultural environment in Africa essential.
