EQUITY DERIVATIVES – Options & Futurers Trader
Our client is a top tier Investment Bank who are looking for Equity Derivatives Trader to join them. Great opportunity to join an established platform in the market. Must have traded Emerging Markets and ideally covered Algeria as well.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
An equities derivatives & single stock futures trader on the Derivatives Trading desk within Equity Capital Markets. To profitably trade futures & options contracts on the futures exchange on a whole range of underlying products.
Exploits trading probabilities which have been diagnosed utilizing a variety of proprietary fundamentalist analysis techniques & personal market experience & intuition.
Once positions of value are identified & established, exploits these probabilities by profitably engaging in speculative trading activities in all market conditions, particularly during volatile times.
To manage the consequent desk exposure within given pricing strategies, trading mandates & capital allocation. To ensure an above average return on capital allocated for the desk.
Is incentivized to make profits with minimal amount of risk capital. In addition, to engage with external clients & potential clients in a market-making capacity. To ensure the execution of specified administrative tasks & duties in accordance with defined service standards to enable the DT to fulfil its customer service & reporting obligations.
Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree with majors in maths etc. Ideally coupled with a CFA
