Accountant (German Speaking) - Mauritius

A leading International Investment Bank is looking to recruit 2 German speaking Accountants for their Mauritius Operations.
Experience
- Min of 6 years exp in the financial accounting environment must have at least 5 years exp in an audit environment or 7 years exp preparing schedules for internal/ external audit.
Skills
- Recording / classification of financial transactions per applicable framework, reporting and monitoring of all balance sheet accounts.
Specific
- Effecient management of the asset management
knowledge
- Review of asset policies and procedures.Effective management of revenue and debtors (collection & recording)
- Complilation of reports in terms of the PFMA/ regulations/guidelines, Ensure all audit fimndings are closed timeously
- Manage month to year-end closures
- Computer literacy with advanced excel, report writing skills, numerical and analytical skills.
Requirement
- German - Fluent in German
- BComm accounting degree
- Knowledge of the public finance management act, Treasury Regulations, IFRS. GAAP, basic advatange accounting system and excellent verbal and written communication
- Advantage- completed articles
