CA Global: Engineering and Construction has a client that is in need of a Highway Engineer (Rural Roads). The position will be based in Kenya
Overview:
You will coordinate the execution of engineering and construction activities for rural roads across the project during the engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning phases.
Responsibilities
• Oversee the engineering and construction of rural site based roads, considering commercial requirements and constraints
• Ensures all construction of roads are within the agreed cost, schedule and performance criteria
• Communicates between numerous teams
• Engineering and Construction to ensure timely agreement on deliverables
• Liaise between other company departments and required government bodies to ensure readiness for commissioning and handover
• Contributes to the effective management of project budgets and schedules for roads
Requirements:
• Tertiary qualifications in Engineering
• Experience in engineering construction roles on rural / site based road projects
• Experience of relevant software applications e.g. Excel, MS Project, and Primavera P6
• Kenyan Citizens are encouraged to apply
