CA Global: (Africa Positions) has a position available for a JDE ERP System Engineer/Programmer. The position will be based in Nigeria.
Our client is an engineering company with 34 years working experience providing construction services within Africa and the Middle East. They are installing JDE ERP system in Nigeria.
Objectives
Automate internal business processes.
Drive efficiency with Real-Time Intelligence.
Adapt existing data to suit new ERP.
Enhance Management control.
Responsibilities:
Develop application modifications, interfaces, reports and data conversion using JDE E1 toolset.
Work with owners, consultants and technical leads to understand requirements, review functional specifications and develop unit test plans.
Follow development standards and sound JDE development practices and troubleshoot issues.
Work with implementers and clients personnel to develop, test and implement products.
Retrofit modifications from prior software to fit JDE implementation purpose.
Skills and Experience
CPA or similar advanced accounting degree preferred.
3+ years of JDE implementation experience in a technical/development capacity.
1+ years of experience in a consulting environment.
Proficient in spreadsheets and data sorting/cleaning.
Applies strong analytical skills to resolve difficult client problems.
Candidates must be proficient to read, write and speak English.
Minimum Skills
JDE Enterprise on 11g modules:
Finance, AR, AP, GL, Assets, Job Costing, Procurement, BI, Inventory, Project Mgt, Sales, Capital Assets, HR/payroll, Prod/Manufacturing.
