CA Global: Power and Energy (Middle East Positions) has a client that is in need of a System Studies Manager (transmission / Generation / operations) the position is based in Dubai
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering
- 12 - 15 years Experience in Large Power System Utilities
- Professional experience of Power System Operations; involved in power system planning, system studies and in transmission & generation operation
- proficiency in using PSS/E steady state and dynamics
- Experience in (EMTP, ETAP, ATP, MatLab, etc) is an advantage
- Excellent management skills
- Understanding of IEC standards, knowledge of IEEE regulations and knowledge of safety rules and regulations.
- Fluency in English (speak, read, write)
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- manage operational studies activities
- Conduct different types of steady state & dynamic studies with proper system modeling and proper recommendations to solve operational constrains.
