CA Global: Building and Construction (Africa Positions) has a client looking for a Foreman with good experience in general infrastructure works from building construction to roads. This position will be based in Djibouti.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervise all works related to the project on site, and ensure that all works are to specifications
- Manage local teams as well as other expats on site
- Ensure quality standards are upheld
- Ensure that HSE standards are maintained on site.
- Attend site meetings
- Report back to Project Manager
Requirements:
- Professional certification and a tertiary qualification would be highly advantageous
- 5 - 10 years relevant experience in general infrastructure works
- A minimum of 5 years in a supervisory position
- Experience in leading multicultural teams
- Must be fluent in either English or French
- Strong leadership qualities
