Senior Mining Engineer – Consulting – Johannesburg

A leading engineering firm in Johannesburg is urgently seeking a Senior Mining Engineer to join their office in Johannesburg.

Responsibilities:

· Management of all reserve estimates undertaken and ensure compliance of thereof

· Development of mining engineering/analysis techniques

· Improve on efficiency and client reception of new mining techniques

· Embark on U/G or O/P mine schedules, designs, capital cost estimates

· Be prepared to be a project manager for/on identified projects

Requirements:

· 5 years open-pit/underground mining experience

· Mine Managers’ Certificate

· Mine planning software; mine 2-4 D, Surpac, Xpac, Datamine, Whittle

· Relevant qualification

· Good report writing
