Lead Inspection Engineer (Manager / Refinery or Chemical Industry / Equipment Engineer / Oil & Gas / API 581 & API 579) - UAE

CA Oil & Gas are currently seeking an, Lead Inspection Engineer, for our clients involved with an Oil & Gas Major.

The respected candidates will need a Bachelor of Science or Master Degree, as well as a minimum of 3-5 years experience within the Oil & Gas industry, having worked as a Lead Inspection Engineer.

Other Certificates required are knowledge of API 580, 581 and 571, as well as international system for pressure equipment (vessels, tanks, piping etc.)

Equipment types that are covered in the inspection scope are:

Vessels and other Static equipment (eg: Pressure Vessel, Tank, Exchanger etc.)
Pipe (Piping, Pipeline)
Safety Device (Pressure Safety Valve, Thermal Safety Vale, Bursting Disc)
Corrosion monitoring
Cathodic Protection Sysytems

Job Functions:

Manage Technical Team (Lead an Inspection Engineering Team of 5 people)
Organize the Inspection Engineering activities with the Project Engineer - Meet Project deadlines
Approve all deliverables before delivery
Ensure the quality level of the team
Relate all inspection data with Client
Create corrosion loops on PFD
Create a fluid list
Report to Doc Manager all needed documentation
Develop a Risk Based Inspection study
Produce WSE
Produce Inspection plan
Produce Inspection files
Produce procedures per inspection techniques
Prepare and Perform the preliminary inspection (baseline)
Ensure deliverables in timely manner

It will also be good for the candidate to have a good disipline background.
