CA Global: Engineering and Construction (International Positions) has a client that is in need of a Senior Concrete Engineer (Construction Industry). The position is based in Saudi Arabia

Overview

Job includes the ability to carry out all testing, mixing, precautionary and quality control processes on concrete projects

Responsibilities

•      Oversee and guide company material engineers on various consulting tasks
•      Communicate and exchange technical correspondence with Engineers, consultants and clients
•      Develop method statements for various types of concrete pouring and insure that these approved methodologies are properly implemented
•      Provide technical support in addressing concrete pumpability, mass concrete pouring, handling and monitoring concrete tasks, self-consolidating concrete as well as other types of special concrete as in theory and technical documentation with preparations for notes and site meeting.
•      Write and review detailed technical reports
•      Design concrete mixes and supervise lab, plant, full scale trials and mockups
•      Carry site and concrete pouring inspection
•      Lead and participate in pre-construction and construction meeting
•      Assist clients/contractors in concrete planning
•      Inspect batching plants and concrete production sites and provide technical assessment of the concrete operation
•      Troubleshooting on concrete elements and assist in providing repair methodologies
•      Various inspection tasks on concrete depending on project
•      Develop detailed proposals for concrete consulting

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering
• Over 10 years of experience in concrete testing
• Prior experience in Materials testing Labs or Concrete companies
• Preferably a member of the Concrete Institute of Technology, or the American Concrete Institute
