CA Oil & Gas Middle East has a exciting opportunity available for a SENIOR PROJECT ENGINEER for a innovative international oil and gas development and production company based in Dubai.
The Salary for this role is AED 45,000 ctc.
Client will only accept resumes from Western Expats.
Purpose / Role
1. Co-ordination of oil and gas facility projects including offshore platform / pipeline / modification projects and onshore projects such as Processing facilities, Gas Processing Plant, Oil / LPG Storage, pipelines and export facilities. Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget, and to the required standard.
2. Management of, liaison with, and evaluation of EPC Contractors to ensure compliance in all respects, and optimum value to the Company.
Key aims and objectives
1. Ensuring the project(s) are fit for purpose and that project(s) are designed and executed in an optimum and safe manner. Ensuring that projects are managed and delivered to required specification on time and budget.
2. Co-ordination of interface between Departments to ensure projects are designed optimally and according to all requirements.
3. QC and improvement in Contractors project delivery processes and practices.
4. Safety leadership and safe delivery of projects.
5. Efficient and effective management of EPC Contracts from tender preparation to execution.
Job specification
1. B.Sc. (Eng)
2. Minimum ten years post graduate experience.
3. Minimum eight years experience in project management within oil & gas, refining or petrochem industries.
4. Proven track record of managing multi-projects in general and Design, Engineering & Construction Management functions in particular, in the oil and gas industry.
5. Specific process and project management experience in offshore / onshore oil and gas projects
6. Business management and Organisational skills.
7. People management and ability to build a team.
8. Technical engineering and Project management experience.
9. Safety knowledge and awareness.
