Tax and Compliance Manager- West Africa

Our client is currently seeking a Tax and Compliance Manager for their operations in West Africa

Responsibilities:
- Serve as liaison on all tax regulation and tax related system enhancements
- Formulate tax-planning strategies and perform tax reviews
- Align the tax function with business objectives
- Support all aspects of international income tax compliance
- Ensuring compliance with laws and regulations
- Thoroughly and accurately analyze information
- Make informed decisions in complex and judgmental areas

Requirements:
- Relevant tertiary qualification
- An accounting designation
- A minimum of 5 years of tax and compliance experience
- Previous experience within the mining industry
- Proficiency in tax computer software applications
