CA Global: Engineering has a client looking for a Marine Structural Engineer/Civil Engineer with experience in port and costal structure projects. This position will be based in South Africa.
Duties and Responsibilities include among others:
- Checking all structural designs for the entire project
- calculates loads and stresses on structures
- Checking construction work in progress
- Supervising erection of major structure
Requirements:
- Candidates must have a BSc (Eng) and PrEng qualifications
- At least 10 years post qualification experience
- Track record in the design, implementation and project management of heavy civil structures including experience in design office management
- Design experience of port and coastal structures would be preferable
- South African nationals are encouraged to apply.
