CA Global: Engineering (Port Infrastructure) has a client who is in need of a Quantity Surveyor with experience in a consulting environment. This position will be based in South Africa.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities
- Assisting in establishing the client’s requirements and undertaking feasibility studies
- Performing risk and value management and cost control
- Advising on procurement strategy
- Identifying, analysing and developing responses to commercial risks
- Preparing and analysing costings for tenders
REQUIREMENTS:
- Candidate must have a BSc (QS) qualification
- At least 3 years post qualification experience preferably in a consulting environment
- Must display ability to work accurately
- Possess good problem solving abilities
- Interest in a career in port and coastal engineering
- South African nationals are encouraged to apply
