Senior Construction Manager / Project Manager- (Mining / Engineering / Construction) - DRC
Overview:
CA Engineering: Mining has a client who is looking for a Senior Construction Manager, reporting to Project Manager, with minimum 10 years experience in the Construction and Mining Industry. Responsible for overall Project Management and Construction Management of a fast track multi-million dollar earthworks and civil construction project. The position is to be based in the DRC.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Will be based on site.
- Monitor project on a daily basis using Web-based Technology.
- Responsible for Overall Project Management and Construction Management.
- Responsible for Scheduling Resources; Budget and Cost Controls.
Education and Experience:
- B. Eng. or Related Tertiary Qualification.
- Pr.Eng or Pr.Tech (with extensive experience).
- Strong project Management Skills, especially in Scheduling and Cost Controls.
- Working Knowledge of NEC3.
- A proven 10 year track record in Project Management/Construction is essential.
- Experience in the Mining industry is preferred.
- Professional Registration will be an advantage.
- Experience in working with EPC(M).
