Payroll Assistant - Johannesburg

Blue chip multi-national company based in Johannesburg's northern suburbs requires the above to join their finance team.
You will hold a matric certificate, and preferably a diploma in payroll, human resources or administration. Additionally, you will have at least one years experience within a payroll or general accounting position.
Responsibilities will include:
Ensuring weekly timesheets are completed and approved
Following up on outstanding timesheets
Posting of all timesheets before month-end close
Salary structuring for employees
Assisting with payroll reconciliations
Payroll capturing for contractors and vendors
Maintenance of employee records
Distribution of pay slips
Filing and archiving
Handling of day to day queries
