Hugo is the Divisional Head for the Banking, Insurance, Legal and Finance department. He heads up a team of executive search and research specialists specifically sourcing within these sectors. Rapid foreign investment, infrastructure development and further organisational expansion have led to the need for a Head of Commercial for one of our clients, in Angola.
Relevant tertiary qualification
7 – 10 years of experience in a freight forward and supply chain industry
Experience in managing, leading and growing a multinational organisation
Fluency in Portuguese and English
Experience in working in a multi-cultural organisation
Experience in managing, coaching and training teams
Possess excellent numerate acumen
Well-developed negotiation skills
Develop and implement the organisational structure
Responsible for translating organisational strategy into deliverable objectives, ensuring targets are met.
Continuously growing and developing of new and existing business
Initiate and build commercial collaboration and liaison between Commercial Offices and CSO’s across all regions
Responsible for budget and target management
Deploy corporate and compliant pricing strategies and ensure commercial r4esponsiveness to customer enquiries.
Ensure that policies are complied with ethically and escalate any issues affecting the commercial performance, geographic interventions
Lead and develop commercial resources and deliver objectives, KPI’s and targets.
