Job Description:

Our client, an international company specialising in the sales and after-sales service of equipment intended for public works, mines and quarries is looking to employ an Accounts Manager Mining. The ideal candidate will oversee the equipment sales for the mining sector and the promotion of services and parts contract. They will be responsible for the global relationship with assigned key customer that they will be assigned for. The role encompasses the coordination of sales and After-Sales (service and parts) at customer level.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Define the objectives and the strategy for each Key Account portfolio under assigned responsibility and ensure alignment with BU strategy.
  • Coordinate with the company’s local teams in the territories the implementation of each customer strategy; manage the customer relationship; coordinate the actions in the sales phase and be the go-to person for the customer.
  • Allow growth of the sales & the profitability within the targeted portfolio of Key account and Contractors (Equipment/Service/Parts).
  • Visit customers regularly, on site or at HQ and make offers.
  • Participate in Business plan and forecast.
  • Remain responsible of their sales up to the commissioning of the equipment.
  • Participate in proposing of Financing solution by requesting proactively the relevant financial document.
  • Maintain and further develop existing customers to achieve target revenue within determined time frame and budget.
  • Participate actively in team meetings to ensure a consistent approach and create a platform that promotes discussion about everyday problems.
  • Gather information to have an overview of the customer, their projects, needs and issues.

 

Requirements: Qualification and Skill

  • Bachelor’s degree is required, an MBA equivalent is a definite plus.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as Sales or Account Manager in the sector.
  • Technical background in mining is a plus.
  • French speaking is mandatory, and English is a plus (at least working level).
  • Project Management skills
