Job Description:
Our client is seeking a Business Development Manager who is well-versed in software sales within the mining industry to join their team in Gauteng.
Responsibilities:
- Promotion, demonstration and sales of the company’s product.
- Developing new client relationships.
- Managing existing client relationships.
- Market development in South Africa and Africa.
- Providing product support and training.
- Achieving required new business targets.
Requirements: Qualification and Skill
- Earth Sciences, Business, Marketing or IT Degree or similar qualification.
- 10 years business development experience with at least 5 years in complex software sales within the mining industry.
- 5 years’ experience within earth sciences roles within the mining industry.
- Able to suitable assess and understand client requirements.
- Willing to travel locally and internationally if required.
- Valid driver’s license and own transport.
Benefits and Contractual information:
- Permanent contract.
- Periodic travel required.
