Our client, a global OEM, is seeking a Capital Sales Manager to join their team in Sandton. The role will be responsible for generating new business and revenue across Africa. The role is responsible for large revenue targets and territory.
- Generate new business opportunities within the open cast mining and aggregates industry in Africa.
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients and market trends.
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in the target industries.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and revenue growth.
- Present product offerings and technical solutions to clients, highlighting their benefits and competitive advantages.
- Provide technical expertise and support to clients, addressing their inquiries and concerns.
- Prepare and submit sales proposals, quotations, and contracts to potential clients.
- Negotiate and close sales deals, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for both the company and the client.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as engineering, operations, and customer service to ensure successful project implementation and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor market and competitor activities, providing regular updates and insights to management.
- Stay updated with industry trends, innovations, and regulations related to crushers and screens.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote brand awareness and generate leads.
- Continuously meet and exceed sales targets, striving for market share growth and profitability.
- Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and analysis to management.
- Actively contribute to the development of sales strategies, marketing campaigns, and product enhancements based on market feedback and customer needs.
Requirements: Qualification and Skill
- Bachelor’s degree in mining and mechanical engineering.
- 10 plus years’ experience in mining industry.
- Technical application knowledge of crushers and screens in a mine.
- Work experience in the West and East African region.
- Existing client database they can work with upon employment.
- Must have sales of crushers and screens for more than R 20 million.
- Travel to other countries within Africa.
