Job Description:
Our client is seeking a GCC qualified Engineer with a background in smelters / furnaces to lead their engineering maintenance on site in the North West province.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for engineering maintenance and asset management across various sites for plant equipment and infrastructure.
- Holding the 2.13.1 and 3.1 legal appointment.
- Developing and implementing maintenance procedures and risk and operational strategies.
- Providing operational readiness support for SIB projects.
- Continuous improvement and optimisation initiatives and programs.
- Resource planning and management.
- Ensuring legal, environmental, health, safety and risk standards are adhered to.
- Hands on, proactive engagement in operational maintenance.
- Providing mentoring and training to Section Engineers.
Requirements: Qualification and Skill
- Engineering Degree or National Diploma (minimum).
- Government Certificate of Competency (GCC) Mines or Factories.
- 5 years previous senior level experience in process plant and infrastructure engineering maintenance.
- 5 years Previous furnace / smelter experience.
- Previous project management experience.
- Experience providing operational readiness support for SIB projects on operational mines.
- Sound CMMS experience.
